In the 11th round of the Brasileirão Feminino, Flamengo lost to Palmeiras 3-1 on Sunday night (30), in Canindé-SP. Cida scored the red-black goal in the second half.

The game
The first half started evenly, but Flamengo had the first dangerous chance. After a pass from the defensive half, Rafa Barros controlled the ball and passed it to Darlene, who fired a low shot. The ball went just wide of the green and white goalkeeper's right post.

In the 19th minute, Bia Zaneratto opened the scoring for Palmeiras with a penalty kick. Trailing, the red-and-black team tried to attack but struggled to create chances. In the 37th minute, goalkeeper Kaká made an excellent save to prevent Palmeiras' second goal.

In the second half, Palmeiras extended their lead in the 19th minute, again with Bia Zaneratto: 2-0. In the 29th minute, Darlene risked a shot and hit the crossbar of the green and white goalkeeper.

The Meninas da Gávea did not give up and scored the first goal, at 36', with defender Cida, who took advantage of the leftover corner and placed it with class in the corner of the goal: 2-1. In the last play of the match, Palmeiras still scored one more with Bia Zaneratto, who scored her third goal of the game: 3-1.  

Next appointment
The Meninas da Gávea return to the field next Wednesday (2) to face Cruzeiro, at 17 pm, at SESC Alterosas-MG, for the 12th round of the Brazilian Women's Championship.
