In the second leg of the Brasileirão Feminino quarterfinals, Flamengo was defeated by Santos 4-1 on Sunday morning (25), at Vila Belmiro. Leidiane scored the only goal for the red-black team in the match. With the result, the Meninas da Gávea ended their participation in the national competition.

The game
The Meninas da Gávea started the match trying to maintain possession in the attacking half, aiming to score the first goal. In the 16th minute, Flamengo missed a great opportunity to open the scoring. Crivelari received the ball alone on a counterattack, went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but shot wide.

A minute later, Rubro-Negro opened the scoring at Vila. Crivelari received the ball on the right wing and crossed into the box for Leidiane to finish: 1-0. But Santos reacted quickly and leveled the score in the 21st minute with Ketlen: 1-1.

In the final stretch of the first half, the Meninas da Gávea threatened again. Crivelari burst into the box from the right and unleashed a powerful shot, which the goalkeeper saved. The teams went into halftime tied.

At the start of the second half, Santos took the lead on the scoreboard with a goal from Bia Menezes, who hit a powerful cross, leaving Bárbara with no chance: 2-1.

Needing to score goals to turn the game around, Flamengo pushed hard in the final stretch but couldn't find the net. However, in stoppage time, Santos scored two more goals through Ketlen and Camila Martins, sealing Santos's place in the semifinals: 4-1.

With that, the team led by Luis Andrade said goodbye to the national competition.
