Flamengo/Marinha has had three players called up to the Brazilian Women's National Team: Maike, goalkeeper, Nathane, forward, and Karen, defender, announced only this Wednesday because she will replace the injured Alline Calandrine. The first call-up of 2017, because it is not a FIFA date, will only include players who play in the South and Southeast regions of Brazil.

The Brazilian delegation will arrive at Galeão International Airport, in Rio de Janeiro, on Monday (6) for a week of training from February 6 to 11, at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro.

Players who receive positive evaluations may be called up later, including for training sessions exclusively for Brazilian athletes, even if they are not from the designated region. The schedule will be: August 21-26, for athletes from Bahia, Sergipe, Alagoas, Pernambuco, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, and Ceará; October 2-7, for athletes from Piauí, Maranhão, Tocantins, Goiás, Mato Grosso, and Mato Grosso do Sul; and November 6-11, for athletes from Acre, Amazonas, Roraima, Amapá, Pará, and Rondônia.
