In a delayed match of the second round of the Copa Rio Feminina, Flamengo beat Botafogo 3-1, on Wednesday morning (2), in Gávea. Vitória Almeida, Valéria Cantuário and Diovanna scored for Mengão, which added 11 points in the competition. It is worth noting that the red-blacks still have two games less than the other teams. 

The game
The Gávea Girls started the match looking to attack. Three minutes in, they had their first good opportunity. Monalisa passed to Vitória, who fired a powerful shot that sailed just wide of the post. Monalisa then threatened with a shot from outside the box. 

Botafogo, in turn, had the first chance to score in the 20th minute. However, Flamengo continued to dominate the action and opened the scoring in the 36th minute. Mariana crossed into the box and Vitória headed firmly to bulge the net: 1-0. 

At the end of the first half, Botafogo tied the score with Júllia: 1-1. The teams went into the break with the score tied.

In the second half, the red-and-black team continued to dominate the game and scored their second goal in the 13th minute. Valéria Cantuário pounced on a rebound in the box and slotted it into the goalkeeper's right corner: 2-1. 

Mengão extended their lead in the 31st minute! Diovanna, who had just come on, struck with her left foot into the corner, leaving the black and white goalkeeper with no chance: 3-1. In the final minutes of the classic, the Meninas da Gávea controlled the result and left the field with another victory in the Copa Rio Feminina.
