Flamengo's mission on Monday night (20) was successfully completed. Playing at home, the Mais Querido beat 3B da Amazônia 1-0, with a goal from Fernanda in the first half, and secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil Feminina. The match was even more special as it marked Thaisa's hundredth game with the Sacred Mantle. The midfielder came on in the second half - wearing the number 100 on her back - and helped the team to qualify. 

The game

Playing at home, Flamengo dominated from the start and created a great opportunity with Monalisa, but the goalkeeper made the save. In the 19th minute, Fernanda even managed to put the ball in the net, but the referee signaled offside. Three minutes later, the number 22 took advantage of a perfect cross from Fabi Simões and headed the ball accurately: 1-0. The goal made the team more relaxed, managing the score without suffering any scares. Before halftime, Djeni almost extended the lead and Jucinara nearly scored from a free kick.

Upon returning, Flamengo maintained the same approach and played offensively. At 9', Núbia's shot grazed the post with a header. Shortly after, Mariana had a good chance and hit the crossbar. When the clock showed 22', the climax of the night arrived. Celso called on Thaisa. The number 5 – today number 100 – was cheered by everyone and entered dictating the pace. 

More present in midfield, the team managed by Celso Silva began to pressure 3B in search of a second goal and saw Cristiane hit the post. There was still time for Monalisa to force goalkeeper Camila to make a miraculous save, but the score remained unchanged: 1-0 and qualification for the quarterfinals.
