In the final round of the U-18 Rio de Janeiro State Championship, Flamengo played another excellent game, defeating Barra da Tijuca 5-1 at CEFAN. Goals were scored by Maria Peck, Yasmin, Letícia, Sarah, and Vitória. With this result, Flamengo finished the first stage with a 100% record.

Coach Marcos Gaspar analyzed the victory, previewed the semifinals, and took the opportunity to praise the team for its growth in the competition:

"The victory over Barra da Tijuca confirmed our qualification as group winners. The team showed significant progress and played a strong collective performance. The score reflects our superiority. These three positive results in the first phase were important, as the U-18 project is relatively new. Our leadership shows that we're on the right track in terms of planning. We're maturing and acquiring concepts from already established playmaking strategies, such as high-block marking to pressure the opposing team and the pursuit of possession for organized attacking play."

And now?

In the semifinals, the Meninas da Gávea will face Vasco. The matches are scheduled for the 20th and 27th of this month.
