In a closely contested duel, Flamengo beat Fluminense 2-1 on Friday night (17), in Moça Bonita. Cristiane and Glaucia scored the goals for Rubro-Negro, who reached 20 points in the Brasileirão Feminino, took fourth place and maintained their invincibility under the command of Rosana Augusto.
The game
In the first fifteen minutes, Flamengo imposed its style and created excellent opportunities. In the sixth minute, Chai took a free kick that went just wide. In the eighth minute, Cristiane deflected the ball, and the goalkeeper saved it. In the 13th minute, the goal finally came. Ju Ferreira launched the ball, Fernanda crossed perfectly, and Cristiane scored a stunning goal: 1-0.
Despite dominating, Mais Querido equalized in the 20th minute: Lelê received the ball in the box and passed it to Vivi Holzel, leaving no chance for her. In the 27th minute, Fernanda fired a powerful shot that narrowly missed putting the team back in front. The score remained level going into halftime.
The second half had all the makings of a classic. It was hard-fought, hard-fought, and intense. The best chances early on fell to Glaucia, who forced goalkeeper Claudia to make two difficult saves. In the final stretch, in the 38th minute, Laysa lifted the ball into the box and Fernanda headed it into the corner: 2-1. The sequence was full of grit and commitment from the Meninas da Gávea. Thus, the result could only have been different: a Flamengo victory in the Fla-Flu match.
