In an electrifying and breathtaking duel, Flamengo won the classic against Fluminense by 3 to 1, took over the sole leadership of the Guanabara Cup and became the only undefeated team in the U-17 Women's Carioca Championship. The goals of the Mais Querido were scored by Laís - from a free kick and an Olympic goal - and by Ingrid Santos. 

The game

With a fully attacking approach, Mengão opened the scoring in just six minutes. Kaylane Vieira took a free kick, the ball hit the wall, and fell to Ingrid Santos. The number 9 controlled the ball with her chest, caught it first time, and swelled the net. In the 10th minute, from another set piece, Laís scored the second and extended the lead. Without letting the pace drop, the team continued to dominate the action and didn't let their opponent breathe. The Meninas da Gávea's level of concentration was so high that it drew a lot of attention right up until halftime. The look of victory was already on their faces. 

In the second half, what was already good got even better. In the 14th minute, Laís, the match's standout performer, scored a beautiful Olympic goal: 3-0. After the third, the team managed the result, bided its time, and maintained its determination and commitment. In the duel, Flamengo had the ball. In plays involving two Fluminense players, three players wearing the Sacred Mantle surrounded them. In the end, the opponent managed to pull one back with an aerial play, and new opportunities were created for the Red-Blacks, but it ended 3-1.
