Flamengo's run in the Brazilian Under-18 Championship started off on the right foot. In a match held on Wednesday morning (27), the team led by Marco Gaspar beat Fortaleza 3-1. The goals were scored by Tuane, Mariana Fernandes and Sarah. With the result, Rubro-Negro took the lead in group E.

O JOGO

The Mais Querido opened the scoring in the first minute. Ana Portugal took a throw-in, Mariana Fernandes beat the run and crossed to Tuane, who controlled the ball and made no mistake. With the advantage, the team maintained its momentum, creating other opportunities, but failed to convert. In the 29th minute, the opponent came close, but was stopped by debutant Yasmin. The first half ended like that.

In the second half, in the seventh minute, Naely took a perfect corner kick and Mariana Fernandes headed it into the back of the net: 2-0. Marcos then made some changes, and despite maintaining their level, Fortaleza pulled one back in the 20th minute. Nothing to faze the girls, who continued pressing and scored the third. In the 43rd minute, Naely delivered a beautiful pass to Sarah, who came in alone, displaced the goalkeeper, and sealed the win.
