Flamengo defeats Paraguay and ends its participation in the Brazil Ladies Cup

Crivelari, Gisseli and Monalisa scored the goals for the Meninas da Gávea in the 3-2 victory

Flamengo ended its participation in the Brasil Ladies Cup with a 3-2 victory over the Paraguayan National Team, this Friday (8). Crivelari, Gisseli and Monalisa scored for Rubro-Negro at the Bruno José Daniel stadium, in Santo André-SP, in the third round of the competition. Mais Querido finished in second place in Group B, with seven points.

The game 

The Meninas da Gávea started the match pressing hard, and the goal soon followed. In the ninth minute, Laysa received the ball deep on the right, crossed perfectly, and Crivelari, in the box, finished into the net.

Flamengo continued to dominate possession and maintain a strong presence in the attacking half. However, in the 28th minute, after a ball was lofted into the box, Camila Barbosa struck hard and equalized for the Paraguayans.

In the final minutes, Cris found Crivelari with a beautiful pass, and the striker fired a dangerous shot from the byline. The first half ended with the score tied.

After the break, two minutes into the second half, the score changed again. Liz Peña received the ball, turned in the box, and turned the game for the Paraguayan national team.

Mengão kept fighting and at the 12-minute mark, the equalizer came. In a beautiful exchange of passes, Isadora set up Gisseli, who struck with skill, making it all square.

In the final stretch, at 38', Fla regained the lead. Monalisa took a chance from outside the box and scored a stunning goal! 3-2 to Fla, who came away with the victory.
