On the morning of this Wednesday (26), Flamengo went to Cachoeiras de Macacu and beat Pérolas Negras 3-0, in a duel valid for the fourth round of the Copa Rio Feminina. Left-back Chai scored a great goal and then scored another. A product of the youth academy, Mariana completed the score with a header.

The game
The first half was evenly balanced, with few chances. Flamengo's best moments came from attacking midfielder Fernanda, who threatened with shots from outside the box. Before halftime, Flamengo pressed and opened the scoring in the 43rd minute. Monalisa took a free kick, the defense cleared, and Chai hit a beautiful shot: 1-0.

With a few changes, the red-and-black team stepped up their game and extended their lead. In the 13th minute, Letícia stepped up to the baseline and crossed for Mariana to head home: 2-0. Soon after, Monalisa struck from distance and narrowly missed the goal. The third goal came in the 34th minute: after a well-worked play, Monalisa crossed, Chai headed into the corner, and scored her second of the match. With the advantage, the Meninas da Gávea managed the result in the end and earned three points.

Mengão's next match in the Copa Rio Feminina will be on Saturday (1), against Fluminense, at home.
