In the second leg of the Carioca Women's Championship semi-final, Flamengo had no difficulty beating Vasco 3-0 on Saturday morning (8), at Gávea, securing a place in the competition's final. Cristiane (2) and Duda Rodrigues scored the red-black goals in the classic. Now, Mengão awaits its opponent in the final, which will come from the match between Fluminense and Botafogo. 

The game

The match began with both teams seeking possession of the ball. Needing a victory, Vasco appeared more offensive and even hit the post in the opening minutes. But the Flamengo women's team, on their first good attack, opened the scoring with a fantastic goal from Cristiane! Cristiane received the ball in the box, controlled it with her chest, turned, and volleyed it into the top corner, giving the Vasco goalkeeper no chance: 1-0. 

Next, Glaucia received the ball on the left and crossed perfectly for Duda Rodrigues to volley home from inside the box to extend Flamengo's lead in the 23rd minute: 2-0. And right after the water break, Flamengo scored their third goal, again with Cristiane. Glaucia took a free kick into the box and the number 11, in the six-yard box, chipped the ball into the net: 3-0. 

In the final minutes of the first half, Vasco pressed for the opening goal, but Vivi Holzel made important saves and maintained Flamengo's lead. 

After the break, Vasco continued trying to reduce the deficit, but Flamengo's defense was well-organized and managed to intercept their plays. With the opponent pressing forward, the Flamengo women's team found more space to counter-attack. 

Throughout the game, Flamengo managed their lead, showing security in their defensive system. Without any scares, the red-and-black team valued possession of the ball in the final stretch and left the field with a great victory over their rival. With this result, the Flamengo women secured their place in the Carioca Women's Championship final.
