Flamengo took a big step towards the final of the Campeonato Carioca Feminino U-20 on Saturday morning (13). Playing away from home, at CT Almirante Heleno, the team led by Filipe Torres beat Vasco 3-0 and depends on a simple draw at Gávea to guarantee the spot. The goals were scored by Kaylane Vieira, Dudinha and Ana Papel. 

The game

Despite being the visiting team, Mais Querido took the initiative in the match and created several early chances through Alice and Kaylane Vieira. The number 10, in fact, was a key player in the team's entire play. 

The pressure paid off, and in the 29th minute, Kaylane pressured the defense, anticipated the ball, and only had to displace the goalkeeper: 1-0. The goal made things even more encouraging for the Meninas da Gávea, who narrowly missed extending their lead after a good play by Isabela Nunes and a shot by Leane. Despite further attempts, the score remained the same.

In the second half, Flamengo maintained their strong pace and pushed forward. In the 12th minute, Sofia delivered a beautiful pass, Leane deflected it, and Bruna received it at the edge of the box. The right-back advanced and passed to Dudinha, who slammed it home: 2-0. After the second half, Filipe made changes, and the team sealed the victory in the 32nd minute. Maria Fernanda dispossessed Gabi, Kaylane Vieira made a mess of the situation, and crossed perfectly for Ana Papel to head into the top corner: 3-0.

Mengão returns to the field on Sunday (21), at 10 am, at home, for the return game against Vasco.
