In a match played this Thursday afternoon (2), at the Rei Pelé Stadium, in Maceió, Flamengo beat UDA-AL 1-0 and maintained the isolated leadership of group B of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship. The red-black goal was scored by striker Leane. With the result, the team needs a simple victory in the last round to advance to the next phase of the national competition.
The game
In the first half, Flamengo started by looking for a goal and had some opportunities. At 7', Yasmim Cardozo made a beautiful individual play and crossed perfectly for Leane, who arrived and shot first-time: 1-0. Immediately afterwards, Yasmim set up Brendha in front of goal, but the number 9's shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
At 17 minutes, Nicoli took a corner kick and Anna Luiza's shot was blocked. After the water break, Mirella passed to Maria Fernanda. The attacking midfielder entered the area and forced Grazy to make a miraculous save. Before halftime, Anna Luiza and Brendha tried their luck from long range, but without success, and the score remained the same as in the opening minutes.
In the second half, at 6', Yasmim Cardozo crossed and Leane almost extended the lead with a header. At 14', Yasmim created a great chance and Ana Papel almost scored. Despite their strong dominance, the team managed by Filipe Torres couldn't convert it into more goals, but they achieved a result sufficient to maintain their lead in the group.

Flamengo's Under-20 team plays again on Sunday (5), against Litoral Norte-BA, at 15 pm, at Gávea, for the last round of the group stage.
