On Sunday morning (23), Flamengo beat Vasco 3-0, in the second leg of the Carioca Feminino semi-final, in Gávea, and advanced to the final of the competition.

The girls had a large advantage, gained in the first leg, away from home, by beating Vasco 3-0. But Flamengo didn't slow down, going in search of victory from the start of the match and repeating the score from the first leg.

The Most Beloved faces Botafogo in the grand final of the Carioca.

 

The game

Flamengo controlled the match from the start. With a high offensive volume and high marking, hallmarks of the red-and-black team, the girls created numerous chances.

At the end of the first half, the red-and-black momentum was rewarded. Monalisa took a corner kick from the left, and Sole Jaimes headed it into the net. The score was open at Gávea: 1-0.

The second half began with Flamengo maintaining their composure. Maria Alves came close to scoring. Gica, who had just come on, had a great chance but was stopped by the opposing goalkeeper. Thaisa took a shot from outside the box, and the ball went over. Jucinara took a free kick from a long way out and hit the crossbar with a beautiful shot. It was almost a great goal.

And just like in the first half, it was in the final minutes that the ball decided to go in. Jucinara crossed from the right and Pimenta rose to increase the score in Gávea: 2-0. Jucinara then took another corner kick, and it was Maria Alves' turn to finish into the back of the net. A rout in Gávea: 3-0.

Maria Alves' goal gave the final score to the match.
