On the afternoon of this Wednesday (24), Flamengo/Marinha went to the Martins Pereira stadium, in São José dos Campos, to face São José in the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. With a lot of balance, the confrontation ended in a 0-0 draw.
Both teams created good opportunities throughout the 90 minutes of play. While Flamengo, already qualified, sought to earn points and avoid conceding goals, São José pressed forward and tried to create chances, all of which were blocked by the team's well-positioned defense.
Despite having good chances, the Meninas da Gávea failed to convert any shots, but they also prevented their opponents from scoring on Kaká's goal. Thus, the score remained 0-0.
In the last round, Flamengo will host Vitória-BA at home, at the José Bastos Padilha stadium, Gávea. The match is scheduled for next Wednesday (31), at 15 pm. The Girls from Gávea are already guaranteed third place in Group 2.
