Flamengo/Marinha draws with Iranduba at the Arena da Amazônia

With the result, Mais Querido is eliminated from the Brasileirão Feminina

On Wednesday night (21), Flamengo/Marinha went to Arena da Amazônia, in Manaus, and faced Iranduba in a duel valid for the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. Despite fighting hard for a place, the Meninas da Gávea drew 1-1 and were eliminated from the competition.

Iranduba opened the scoring. In the 20th minute, Mayara seized the opportunity and scored. Pressing hard, Flamengo created numerous opportunities, and in the 44th minute, after a free kick in the box, Tânia Maranhão equalized.

Despite striving for a positive result and dominating the final stage at Arena da Amazônia, Flamengo/Marinha were unable to break the deadlock at 1-1.

The 2-2 draw in the first game, played in Rio de Janeiro, gave Iranduba the away goals advantage, which advanced them to the semifinals.
