A few days after being two-time Rio de Janeiro champion, Flamengo/Marinha drew 1-1 in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Women's Brazilian Cup on Thursday afternoon (22), at CEFAN, in Rio de Janeiro. In this competition, away goals are the tiebreaker.
Flamengo led for almost the entire match, but conceded an equalizer late in the match. Larissa opened the scoring for Flamengo nine minutes into the first half, but Francisleide leveled the score in the 34th minute of the second half.
The return game will be next Wednesday (28), at 18 pm, at the José Liberatti stadium, in Osasco, São Paulo.
