Flamengo/Marinha finishes the first phase of the Carioca undefeated
Rubro-negras won the Brasileirinho in the last round and guaranteed 100%

The Girls from Gávea finished the first phase of the Rio de Janeiro Women's Football Championship as they started: with a rout and a great match. Against Brasileirinho, on Saturday afternoon (14), at the Almirante Adalberto Nunes Physical Education Center (CEFAN), Flamengo/Marinha won 5-0 and guaranteed their invincibility.
Still in the first half, Ana opened the scoring by rebounding Flávia's attempt in the ninth minute. Shortly after, Bárbara capitalized on a foul near the box to hit a beautiful free kick, extending the lead.
In the 22nd minute, the afternoon's top scorers made a play. Ana found Bárbara alone on the left, the number 10 took the goalkeeper out of the play, and scored another. The very next play, Ana appeared again in attack and, taking advantage of a defensive lapse, scored her second goal and the fourth for Mais Querido.
In the final stage, the one who closed the score of the match was defender Renata, who took advantage of the rebound after Jane's free kick and sent the ball into the back of the net.
With this result, Flamengo finished the first stage of the State Championship with 18 points, six wins in six games, 41 goals scored and only three conceded, and a 100% success rate. Mengo also secured a one-point advantage in the next stage of the competition, having finished first overall.
In the second phase, which will start next week, Mais Querido will play a triangular with Duque de Caxias (2nd) and América (3rd). With the next Saturday (21) off, Meninas da Gávea will return to the field in two weeks (28.10) and end the Carioca on November 4th. The locations of the matches have not yet been defined.
