The Flamengo/Marinha women's team qualified in first place for the final of the Campeonato Carioca with 27 points and will take to the field to decide the trophy with Barcelona, next Tuesday (20.10), at 16 pm, at the Moça Bonita stadium, in Bangu, Rio de Janeiro. The decision will be in a single game.

The girls from Mais Querido took to the field last Saturday afternoon (17.10) to face Rio Preto/SP at the Arthur Antunes Coimbra stadium in Rio de Janeiro and were defeated by their opponents 1-0. Flamengo/Marinha fought until the final whistle, but ended up being eliminated from the Brazilian Championship in the second phase of the competition. For most of the competition, the Rubro-Negro team played with a weakened squad, as 22 of its top athletes traveled to the Republic of Korea to represent Brazil at the Military World Games, where they were champions.
