This Tuesday (22), the Rio de Janeiro Federation released the calendar for the Rio de Janeiro Women's Football Championship. The tournament, which will feature Flamengo/Marinha, the current two-time champions, will also feature Portuguesa, América, Barcelona, Brasileirinho, Duque de Caxias and Cruzeiro.
The women's soccer tournament kicks off again on September 16th, kicking off the first phase of the Carioca Championship. After a single-round match, the three top-ranked teams advance to the final triangular tournament. The top-place team in the qualifying round begins the second half of the State Championship with an extra point. The competition will run until November.
Furthermore, the top two teams will earn a spot in the 2018 Women's Brazilian Football Cup, which will return to the CBF calendar next year.
The match locations will be announced later and the scheduled date for the final round of the second phase is November 4th.

7th round - 14/10 (Saturday) - 15pm - Flamengo/Marinha x Brasileirinho
