The Flamengo/Marinha girls continue to do well in the Brazilian Women's Football Cup. After eliminating the Oratório/AP team in the first phase with a crushing 7-0, Mengão scored again. This time the victim was Vila Nova/ES, on Thursday (8), at the Engenheiro Araripe stadium, in Cariacica, which suffered a resounding 6-0, in the second phase of the competition. The goals were scored by Bárbara (3), Larissa, Jane and Ana Clara.

The Rubro-Negro's next match will be against the winner of the match between Audax/SP and Santos. In the first game, Audax/SP won 3-0. The return match will be on Monday (12).

While waiting for their next opponent in the Copa do Brasil, the Mais Querido girls will take to the field on Sunday (11), at 9 am, against Vasco, at the Figueira de Melo stadium, in São Cristóvão, for the Campeonato Carioca. The game will be to fulfill the schedule, since Mengão has already secured the leadership of the first phase and has a confirmed presence in the final.
