On Sunday afternoon (2), Flamengo/Marinha returned to the pitch at the José Bastos Padilha stadium, in Gávea, to face Ponte Preta in the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. Dominant, the Most Beloved won 3-0, with goals from Pâmela, Larissa and Jane.

During the first half, Flamengo was the better team and dominated the action. Looking for openings to score, the red-and-blacks came close on a few occasions, but it was Pâmela's feet that scored the first goal.

In the 24th minute, on a quick counterattack, Bárbara surged down the right and found Pâmela alone. The forward made no mistake, setting up the ball, scoring, and opening the scoring at Gávea.

Dominating the match, the Mais Querido came back strong in the second half and took advantage to solidify the result. In the 20th minute, Larissa crossed into the box, and the opposing player cleared it with her hand. She collected the ball herself and hit the left corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

In the 32nd minute, Jane made an individual play close to the area and shot from afar into the corner, scoring Flamengo's third and closing the score.

The result leaves Flamengo with three wins and two losses in the Brasileirão, further extending their Group 2 standings and moving them into third place.

After two home games, the red-blacks travel to São José do Rio Preto and face the leader of Group 2, Rio Preto, on Thursday (6), at 15:30 pm, at the Anísio Haddad stadium.
