Flamengo/Marinha qualifies for the next stage of the Brazilian Championship
Even with a 1-1 draw, the Rubro-Negro girls advance to the second phase

The Flamengo/Marinha women's team, already qualified for the second round of the Brazilian Championship, took to the field in Gávea on Wednesday afternoon to play against the also qualified Adeco/SP. Even though both teams qualified, the match continued to be played for the full 90 minutes.
Despite the even playing style displayed by both teams, Flamengo/Marinha conceded a goal late in the first half, opening the scoring in the 43rd minute. Ten minutes into the second half, Dani Vigia was awarded a penalty and converted, leveling the score.
Vigia, who scored the red-and-black goal, commented on the team's performance. "The team is qualified and doing well, but we still need to improve a lot. Maycon made a good pass, and I ended up winning the penalty and converted. Congratulations to the team, but we'll strive to improve in the next round," he said.
Already thinking about the next game, coach Lieutenant Abrantes spoke about his expectations for the upcoming challenges, as many athletes will be heading to the Military Games. "We'll travel to the Games and will be left with the mixed team, not of less quality, but a little less trained. The team we leave behind will certainly do a good job, and we'll continue to pursue that title," he declared.
The Military World Games will take place from October 02nd to 11th in the Republic of Korea and the related athletes will travel next Saturday (26.09).
