In the third round of the Brazilian Women's Championship, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Ferroviária on Monday night (21), at the Fonte Luminosa stadium. Maria Alves scored the goal for the red-black team. With the result, the Meninas da Gávea have five points in the competition.

The game
The match began with Ferroviária attacking and putting pressure on Flamengo, who struggled to break out of their own half. The Meninas da Gávea's first good opportunity came in the 15th minute. Cris received the ball on the right and crossed into the box, Gisseli arrived, shooting from outside the box, and the ball went just wide.

In the 20th minute, Mengão opened the scoring at Fonte Luminosa! On the counterattack, Gica passed to Maria Alves, who crossed the ball into the back of the net: 1-0. After the goal, the red-and-black team relaxed more and began to attack more frequently. In the final play of the first half, Ferroviária tied the game with a Ludimila goal: 1-1.

In the second half, the game remained fairly even. The Meninas da Gávea pressed the ball under pressure, forcing Ferroviária to make a mistake when they kicked the ball out. The red-and-black team tried to stay in the attacking half, exchanging passes to create space in the opposing defense.

In the final stretch, Flamengo pressed forward in search of the winning goal. Ferroviária, in turn, also launched attacks, leaving the game open. Despite efforts from both sides, the match ended in a draw, and the Red-Blacks earned a point away from home.

Next appointment
The Girls from Gávea return to the field to face Real Brasília next Monday (28), at 20 pm, at the Luso Brasileiro stadium, for the fourth round of the Brasileirão Feminino.
