This Thursday (31), Flamengo/Marinha goes to the José Liberatti stadium, in Osasco (SP), and faces Audax in another round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship A-1. The ball rolls at 15 pm.

The Girls from Gávea come into the match after a strong home win. Against Vitória-PE, Flamengo won 4-2, with goals from Bárbara (twice), Pâmela, and Fernanda. Battling from start to finish, the "Mais Querido" (the most beloved team) won thanks to strong performances from goalkeeper Kaká and the captain.

Flamengo currently sits third in Group 2 with eight points, two wins, two draws, and one loss. The red-and-blacks continue to battle point by point for the qualification zone, with each result crucial.

In the first stage of the competition, the teams face each other in a home-and-away format. Then, the top four clubs from each of the two groups advance to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final. All matches will be played in home-and-away format. The Brazilian champion also secures a spot in the 2019 Copa Libertadores.

Audax comes into the match with one win, two draws, and two losses in five matches. In the last round of the Brazilian Championship, the São Paulo team was defeated by Santos 5-1. They then managed to beat Rio Preto 3-1 in another round of the Campeonato Paulista.

Entry to the José Liberatti stadium is free and the Nation can watch the Meninas da Gávea in the match in Osasco.
