This Sunday (20), Flamengo/Marinha took to the field for another round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. In Salvador, Mais Querido faced Vitória, at Barradão Stadium, and won by a score of 1-0. Striker Rafa Barros scored the red-black goal in the match.

The game

The duel between Flamengo and Flamengo began with both teams studying each other. Just five minutes in, Jayanne found Rafa Barros on the right, and the number 5 took her first shot of the game. Flamengo didn't stop there... In the tenth minute, Aryane received the ball and passed it to Flávia, who shot wide.

The Red-Blacks increasingly pressed the opposing team, and in the 13th minute, it was Patricia who scared the goalkeeper. With a superb shot from outside the box, the midfielder showed that she would be a great alternative for Mengão to rely on long-range shots.

After the technical timeout, the most anticipated moment! Once again, on a run down the right, Rafa Barros produced a great finish and found the net! 1-0 for the Meninas da Gávea!

Still in the first half, midfielder Aryane sent a beautiful cross into the box, and Rafa Barros tried to finish but couldn't reach the ball. At the end of the first half, Flamengo/Marinha had the advantage.

The second half started with Mengão on fire! In the first minute, Raquel crossed into the box, giving Aryane a chance to extend the lead. Always relying on the forwards' speed, in the fourth minute another ball was stretched to Rafa Barros, who attempted a shot, but the ball ended up on the goalkeeper. In the sixth minute, Cida capitalized on the corner kick and crossed, but Raquel sent the shot wide.

In the 11th minute, another beautiful play by the Meninas da Gávea. Jayanne, on the left, beat three opponents and shot dangerously. In the 22nd minute, coach Celso Silva made his first change of the match: Lorraynne came onto the field in place of Patrícia.

Flamengo continued to press the Bahian team. In the 34th minute, young Maria Peck came on and made her Brasileirão debut, replacing Jayanne. Midfielder Samhia also came on to replace full-back Dantas.

In the final minutes, Mais Querido continued to press, but the score remained the same until the referee's whistle: 1-0 on the scoreboard and three points in the bag!

Flamengo/Marinha's next match will be on Monday (28), against Grêmio.

Flamengo: Kaka; Raquel, Karen, Cida and Dantas (Samhia); Patrícia (Lorraynne), Ana Carla and Jayanne (Maria Peck); Aryane, Flávia and Rafa Barros.
