The return of the red-black women's football team after the Super Cup dispute was already at the new home, the CFZ. On the morning of this Monday (17), the Meninas da Gávea began preparations for the games against Pérolas Negras and São Paulo - the first, valid for the Copa Rio on Wednesday (19) and the second, for the debut of the Brazilian Championship next week.
Today marks the kickoff for the relocation of the training center, announced in mid-February. The facility, owned by King Zico and located in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, had already been used by the Mais Querido's professional team in the final stretch of 2024. For the Galinho de Quintino, the Rubro-Negro's permanent arrival is an important milestone.
"It's a great joy not only for me, but for everyone here at CFZ. In the initial period, back in October of last year, we gave them our full attention and made sure everyone and the staff felt at home, both on and off the field. I think this continued presence was largely due to this warm welcome and affection. We're very happy to make our facilities available to Flamengo and thank them for their trust," said the eternal idol.
Given the ease of logistics, the athletes are already fully adapted. The goal, from now on, is to have the Zico Football Center as an ally in their quest for titles.
