This Wednesday morning (5) was a time of reintroduction for the red-black women's football team. At CEFAN, the Meninas da Gávea had a meeting with the entire technical committee and were then divided into groups to undergo exams, physical tests under the supervision of Saulo Silva and physiological evaluations. All of this is part of the pre-season planning.

Gisseli, Leidiane, Cris, and Duda, already announced, were on site and joined their teammates. Remaining on the roster are goalkeepers Alice, Gabi Croco, Kaká, and Tainá; full-backs Ana Portugal, Ingrid, and Rayanne; defenders Cida, Núbia, Stella, and Renata; midfielders Aryane, Carlinha, Darlene, Kaylane, and Kaylane Júnior; and forwards Pimenta and Pimentinha. Additionally, Dudinha Rodrigues and Lorena were promoted to the squad. New signings will be announced soon.

"The goal today was to present to the athletes everything the committee has in mind for 2022. We discussed the planning, showed what the preseason will be like, and talked a little about everything. We want to be very successful this year and we're counting on everyone to help us achieve that. We've started work and are going after titles," said coach Luis Andrade.

The Mais Querido's first match will be the Brazilian Super Cup in February. The team also has the Brazilian Championship and the State Championship (in the second half of the year) ahead.
