Women's football team returns for the 2023 season
At CEFAN, Girls from Gávea undergo exams and tests on their first day of work
By Flamengo Communication - inThis Wednesday morning (4) was a time of reintroduction for Mengão's women's soccer team. At CEFAN, the athletes had a quick meeting with the technical committee/staff and were then organized into different groups for exams, physical tests and other evaluations under the command of physical trainer Saulo Silva and other club employees. This is all part of the pre-season planning.
Recently announced Thais Regina, Nath Pitbull, Karol Alves, and Louvain were on site and joined the squad. The squad continues with goalkeepers Bárbara and Kelly Chiavaro, full-backs Gisseli, Jucinara, Monalisa, and Rayanne, defenders Cida, Daiane, and Núbia, midfielders Cris, Darlene, Duda, Kaylane, Kaylaine Júnior, Leidiane, and Thaisa, and forwards Crivelari, Duda Rodrigues, Gica, Isadora, Maria Alves, and Sole Jaimes.
"Today we gave a quick presentation about some goals for the year. We talked a bit about the preseason and chatted with the athletes. The main goal is success, and we need the entire group, just as we did in winning the Brazil Ladies Cup. We're going to work hard; after all, our focus is to be champion," commented Mr. Luis Andrade, who begins another season at the helm of the Rubro-Negro.
Mais Querido's first commitment in 2023 will be the Brazilian Super Cup, in February.
