After two victories in the Brazilian Women's Under-18 Championship, against Fluminense and Cuiabá, Flamengo drew 1-1 with Minas Brasília, on Saturday morning (10), at CT do Sorocaba, in the third round of this phase. With the result, Mais Querido remained at the top of Group A, with seven points.
The game
The match started evenly, with Flamengo seeking to dictate the pace of the match with strong offensive attacks. However, their opponents managed to hold off the Meninas da Gávea's momentum and opened the scoring in the first half.
In the second half, the red-blacks pressed from the start and saw their efforts pay off in a beautiful long-range goal by Kaylane Souza, after a well-worked play on the right and a perfect assist from Maria Peck, in the 13th minute: 1-1.
Next appointment
This Monday (12), the Meninas da Gávea return to the field at CT do Sorocaba, where this stage of the competition takes place, to face Minas Brasília again, at 8 am. The game will be valid for the fourth round of the group stage of the championship.
