Jaqueane Correa is Flamengo's new assistant coach

With experience in the sport, the professional joins the main women's football committee

The news for the Meninas da Gávea continues. Following the arrival of Darlene and Rayanne, the club has finalized a new addition to the coaching staff: Jaqueane Correa, who previously worked in Rio de Janeiro as a physical trainer in 2019 and coached América-MG in 2020. She joins to take on the role of assistant coach at Mais Querido.

A native of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Jaqueane holds a degree in Physical Education from FMG and a specialization in soccer from UFV. She continues to specialize in her studies throughout her career.

"I'm very happy to be joining a club like Flamengo. It's extremely rewarding. I know the weight and importance of this Mantle, as well as all the history it carries, with so many stories in women's football and a lot of professionalism in the work. It's a new challenge in my career, and I have great expectations to do a great job and contribute to the search for results.
