The sixth Girl from Gávea to join Flamengo is right-back Jissele! After playing for Grêmio and Bahia in 2020, the futsal-trained athlete arrives in Rio de Janeiro to fulfill a long-held dream: to play for the club.
"Today I've achieved a goal I set a few years ago. After all, playing professionally for Flamengo has always been my dream. I've been following the club's history since 2017 and I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to wear and carry the weight of the Sacred Mantle. I want to be victorious, just like the club, and I'm here to add even more to the group, which welcomed me like a member of the family. Let's pursue our goals," she said, beaming.
Jissele is 26 years old and possesses a strong leadership spirit. This is her main characteristic off the field. Dedicated, she stands out for her effortless passing and for attacking and defending with equal intensity. Aware of her responsibility, she is focused on returning the club to the top of the sport.
