Jucinara plays 100 games for Mengão: "I want to continue making history"
The left-back reached the milestone in the rout of Internacional at Gávea, the venue for his debut for the club.

When she decided to leave Spain to return to Brazil in 2022, Jucinara didn't hesitate. Enchanted by Flamengo's project, she decided to wear the Sacred Mantle. It was love at first sight. Today, almost three years later, passion has become love. The feeling has solidified, and the connection is evident in the smallest details.
Last Thursday (22), Mais Querido beat Internacional 4-1 in the Brasileirão Feminino and the left-back played her hundredth game for the club. The stage was the same as her debut: Gávea. There was no better setting to reach such an expressive milestone.
"Right from the first contact, I understood what many people can't explain. Only those who love Flamengo know what it means. Reaching 100 games at Gávea has sentimental value for me. It was the first place I came after signing. Where I played my first game. It's hard to put it into words, but I'm extremely happy with how everything turned out. It was an unforgettable day," he said.
Nicknamed the Queen of Classics, Juci wears the number 81 jersey. The number—chosen by the Red-Black Nation in a vote—reflects the affection and loyalty of those born to represent our colors.
"This connection has been there since the beginning. The nation welcomed me with open arms, and I've had a few opportunities to change my number, but I never wanted to. Every time I walk into the locker room before a game and see my jersey there, I remember that the fans gave it to me as a gift. It's an honor, and my ultimate goal is to stay here for a long time. I want to continue making history, and I'll spare no effort to make that happen," he commented.
Her scoring prowess is one of her strengths. Known for her stunning goals, the athlete has already scored twenty in total and wants more. Her main focus, however, is to win the national championship with Mengão.
"This is the result of a lot of work. Ultimately, what matters is Flamengo winning games. I want to see the fans happy. I remember the goal I scored in the Carioca final last year and how everyone celebrated. I live for moments like that. My biggest goal, along with the group, is to put the club on top. We're very committed to chasing that title," he concluded.
