Flamengo remains undefeated in the Campeonato Carioca Sub-17. In a match held at CEFAN, on the afternoon of last Saturday (20), the Meninas da Gávea played well again and beat Maricá 6-2. The goals were scored by Kaylane Vieira (3), Giovanna, Jamile and an own goal.   

The game

With an attacking approach from the opening whistle, Mengão created good opportunities and soon opened the scoring. From a free kick, Jamile rose higher than everyone and headed home firmly. Maricá equalized shortly after, but the goal didn't shake the team, and Kaylane Vieira stepped up. The number 10 took advantage of a defensive rebound and slotted home a shot to make it 2-1. In the final stretch of the first half, she skillfully converted a penalty kick to extend the lead to 3-1. 

After halftime, even with the lead, Mais Querido continued to attack. Isabela Nunes made a good play and passed to Aline, who set up Kaylane to score the fourth (her third of the match). Maricá pulled one back, but the fifth came on the following play. On a corner kick, the opposing defender tried to clear it and ended up scoring an own goal. In stoppage time, Raissa da Silva delivered a beautiful pass to Giovanna, who burst into the box, fired a cross, and sealed the score: 6-2.
