Mengão thrashes Brasileirinho 28-0 and wins the Women's Guanabara Cup
Sole Jaimes (6), Duda (6), Leidiane (5) and Crivelari (4) scored more than three goals each and stood out in the match

On the afternoon of this Saturday (01), Mais Querido faced IQSL Brasileirinho in the last round of the Guanabara Cup, in the Women's Carioca Championship. In a match held at CEFAN (Almirante Adalberto Nunes Physical Education Center), Minas da Gávea won 28-0 and lifted the Guanabara Cup trophy. The goals were scored by Sole Jaimes (6), Duda (6), Leidiane (5), Crivelari (4), Thaisa (2), Daiane (1), Rayanne (1), Kika (1), Stella (1), Andressa (1).
The game
Pressing from the first minute of the match, Mengão opened the scoring within five minutes of the match with a perfect header from Leidiane, following a perfect cross from Jucinara. And less than 15 minutes into the match, the Rubro-Negro were already leading 2-0 with another goal scored by number 11 Leidiane. From a corner kick taken by Monalisa, Sole Jaimes scored Flamengo's third. Still in the first half, Thaisa scored her first of the match and the fourth for the Meninas da Gávea. After receiving a beautiful pass from Thaisa, Duda controlled the ball alone in the six-yard box and doubled the lead. Late in the first half, with another cross from the right, Daiane scored her goal and Rubro-Negro's sixth. From another cross, Sole Jaimes made no mistake and scored another, Flamengo's seventh. In the last play of the first half, Crivelari received the ball alone, one-on-one with the goalkeeper, moved the ball, and scored Mengão's eighth.
In the second half, the team didn't slow down, and within 15 minutes, Mais Querido was already leading 14-0. The second goal came after a passing exchange inside the penalty area. Leidiane found herself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and simply displaced her opponent. Sole Jaimes extended the lead after a rebound from the goalkeeper. For the eleventh goal, Sole Jaimes added another goal; after a shot from number 99 hit the post, the ball fell to the top scorer herself, who scored another. Another one for number 10! Sole Jaimes passed to Duda, who took it away from the goalkeeper and scored the twelfth. She didn't stop! Duda burst into the box and shot into the top corner of the Brasileirinho goalkeeper's goal. The thirteenth! And just a minute later, Crivelari dribbled past her opponent and unleashed a shot to score another for Mengão.
With a pass from number 99, Crivelari makes no mistake and scores another! Rayanne appears as a surprise inside the box, shoots, and scores her first goal of the match. And without missing a beat! Mengão scored another through Duda! Number 10 carries the ball alone and shoots, but the goalkeeper makes a good save. The rebound also falls to Duda, who passes to Sole Jaimes for another, Flamengo's eighteenth. Number 10's star player, Duda, carries the ball alone again, this time the goalkeeper goes one way and the ball goes the other. A play on the right with Andressa, who dribbles past her opponent and rolls it back, Kika arrives, shooting into the top corner.
The twenty-first! Leidiane receives the ball alone inside the box, looks at the goalkeeper, and plays it past her opponent. From the penalty spot, Duda scores the Rubro-Negro's twenty-second. On a play on the baseline, Duda rolls it back, and Sole shoots into the corner. A set piece from the free kick, the ball is crossed to Stella's head, who scores her first of the game. Andressa breaks into the box, passes it to the middle, and Sole cuts it to Leidiane, who scores again. Sole shoots against the post, the ball bounces back to Thaisa, who controls it and scores Mengão's twenty-sixth. The ball crosses the box twice, but Andressa arrives to finish after the second cross. Undeterred, Sole, under pressure, steals the ball, crosses, and Crivelari scores with a header.
Next phase
Having finished first and won the Guanabara Cup, Flamengo will face the last-place team (eighth place), América. The date and time for the match have not yet been set.
