Overwhelming throughout the Guanabara Cup, won last week, Flamengo remains undefeated in the Campeonato Carioca Feminino and is now in the semifinals. On Saturday morning (8), the Mais Querido thrashed América 17-0 and secured its place in the decisive phase. The goals were scored by Pimenta (4), Crivelari (3), Sole Jaimes (3), Thaisa (2), Jucinara, Gisseli, Kaylane, Leidiane and Monalisa.

The game

The initial pressure resulted in Thaisa's goal from outside the box in the third minute. In the seventh minute, Sole Jaimes extended the lead with a beautiful move, and in the 15th minute, Crivelari crossed the ball and scored the third. With qualification assured, the Rubro-Negro didn't let up, scoring the fourth through Thaisa again. In the 26th minute, Jucinara curled a perfect free kick into the right corner: 5-0. Before halftime, Leidiane and Monalisa scored theirs: 7-0.

In the second half, Luis Andrade made changes, and the rout only grew. Early on, Crivelari scored two stunning goals—one with a lob and the other with a header—to make it 9-0. The tenth came from Sole's feet after a superb cross from Jucinara. In the 12th and 16th minutes, Pimenta, who had just come on, found the net: 12-0. Then, Sole maintained his hat trick average and scored with a toe kick: 13-0. In the 26th minute, Kaylane took advantage of Pimenta's assist and fired a powerful shot: 14-0. Inspired, the number 26 scored two more, and Gisseli provided the final tally: 17-0.
