In the seventh round of the Carioca Feminino, Flamengo thrashed América-RJ 5-0 on Saturday afternoon (06), at CEFAN. The goals of Mais Querido were scored by Lodi (2), Samhia (2), and Dani Ortolan, who closed the score. With the result, Mengão achieved its sixth consecutive victory in the championship.
The game
Playing with a significantly modified lineup, the Meninas da Gávea began the first half attacking in search of the first goal, which didn't take long to come. In the 15th minute, after a one-two with the red-and-black attack, Lodi took a shot from outside the box and opened the scoring: 1-0.
Shortly after, Mengão extended their lead in the 21st minute. Dani Ortolan won the challenge and crossed for Samhia, who headed in with style: 2-0. In the final minutes, Stella nearly scored the third with a header. Flamengo went into halftime two goals up.
The Mais Querido (Most Beloved) came back strong in the second half, and just twelve minutes in, they extended their lead. Samhia received the ball from Carol Ladaga and slotted it into the top corner of the goal to score her second goal of the match and Mengão's third!
Next, the Meninas da Gávea scored the fourth, again through Lodi. The forward received the ball deep and tapped it past the goalkeeper: 4-0. In the 31st minute, another red-and-black goal! Jayanne made the tackle, burst into the box, and passed to Dani Ortolan, who made no mistake and scored the fifth, completing the red-and-black rout.
