Flamengo went to the federal capital this Thursday (15) to face Minas Brasília, in the second round of the Brazilian Women's Under-20 Championship, and won 4-0. Gica opened the scoring; Duda Rodrigues, Anna Luiza and Núbia completed the red-black rout. The Meninas da Gávea face Botafogo in the next round of the competition.

The game
Flamengo started the match pressing, and just six minutes in, Duda Rodrigues delivered a beautiful cross to Pimenta, who controlled it and fired a deflected shot toward the goal line. A corner kick was then taken, and Mariana headed dangerously into the opponent's goal.

In the 14th minute, Mengão made a good play down the right, and Ana Laura found a beautiful pass to Gica, who headed the ball against the post, but the striker was offside. Pimenta then scored the first goal, but again he raised the flag.

After Flamengo put pressure on Minas, in the 17th minute, Ana Donato crossed perfectly for Gica, who opened the scoring for Mais Querido: 1-0.

The Meninas da Gávea slowed down the pace, until Duda Rodrigues crossed to Pimenta, who headed the ball into the hands of the opposing goalkeeper.

At the end of the first half, Pimenta and Duda Rodrigues attacked again, the number 19 made a perfect pass to the number 11, who finished with great skill, chipping the ball over the top: 2-0.

In the final minute of stoppage time, Anna Luiza received the ball inside the box, cut inside the defender, and fired a shot into the bottom right corner. The first half ended 3-0 to Mengão.

Flamengo was in control in the second half. The first dangerous play came when Ana Laura took a corner kick headed by Núbia, but the ball went just wide of the opponent's goal.

In the 30th minute, Mariana went after the opposing defense and suffered a penalty, which Núbia took and converted, scoring the fourth goal for the red-black team and closing the rout 4-0, at Bezerrão.
