On the morning of this Thursday (8), the Gávea social headquarters received special visitors. In celebration of International Women's Day, the club held a breakfast with the presence of the players and coaching staff of Flamengo/Marinha, the red-black women's soccer team.

In a relaxed atmosphere, the Meninas Da Gávea enjoyed coffee served by the Maré de Sabores social project, an all-female group that offers gastronomy courses in the Maré communities. Flamengo/Marinha also met two young women from Rocinha who dream of playing professional soccer.

Also present were idols Adílio and Júlio César Uri Geller, who spoke about their successful careers, the challenges of soccer, and how the women in their lives played a key role in their careers. The athletes enjoyed the conversation and shared their experiences, particularly regarding the difficulties women face in the sport.
