In Spain since yesterday, the Mengão women's football team held its first training session in Madrid on Tuesday (8). At Parque Lineal del Manzanares, the Meninas da Gávea carried out an activation at the hotel led by Douglas Libonorio, the new physical trainer, and then continued to work on the field, with Maurício Salgado. 

Now, the team will travel to San Sebastián, where they will face Real Sociedad next Thursday (10), at Stadium Gal, at 19 pm local time (14 pm in Brazil). After today's activity, midfielder Thaisa, who had a great time in Europe, spoke about the sequence of friendlies and praised Flamengo's arrival in the Old Continent.

"We have a new committee, so from a tactical standpoint, it's very important. They'll be able to implement everything they're asking for against strong clubs, and that's really cool. There's also the historical aspect of everything Flamengo is doing for women's soccer. Bringing the sport here is a great idea, and I'm sure it will be very positive for us," analyzed the number 17.
