The Brazilian Women's Championship is approaching, but Flamengo will have commitments before the game against Santos. This Saturday afternoon (18), the Mais Querido will make its debut in the Copa Rio (a preparatory competition organized by FERJ to give more rhythm to the big clubs) against Fluminense, at 15 pm, at Estádio das Laranjeiras. The match will be broadcast on FlaTV and FlaTV+.
Invited to participate in the tournament's first edition, the Rubro-Negro will also face Botafogo and Vasco. The format is simple: the teams face each other in two rounds, and at the end, the team with the most points wins. After today's activity, which concluded preparations for the opening match, defender Agustina spoke about the importance of starting with a win.
"We ended our week of training with full focus on this game. We've worked hard and know the responsibility we have, especially considering it's a derby. We need to go in focused and determined to get a good result," said the number 22.
