In the 13th round of the Brasileirão Feminino, Flamengo drew with Botafogo 1-1 on Saturday afternoon (5), in Gávea. The Mais Querido's goal was scored by Darlene, from a penalty, in the first half. With the result, Mais Querido added 15 points and remains in ninth place in the championship.

The game
The match began with the Meninas da Gávea creating a threat in the first minute. Jayanne received the ball at the edge of the box and fired a powerful shot, which the goalkeeper saved. Botafogo then counterattacked and opened the scoring with a goal from Kélen: 1-0.

Trailing, the red-and-black team had to play more, exchanging passes in the attacking half to find space in the black-and-white defense. In the 10th minute, after a corner kick, Cida took the first shot and almost equalized. Ten minutes later, the red-and-black team created another great opportunity. Darlene received the ball unmarked inside the box and tried to chip it over, but the Botafogo goalkeeper managed to keep it out.

In the 35th minute, Jayanne was fouled in the box, and the referee awarded a penalty. Darlene stepped up to take the penalty, leveling the score at 1-1. The first half ended in a draw.

Just a minute into the second half, Flamengo created a great opportunity. Darlene received the ball inside the box and passed it to Rafa Barros, who fired a shot that hit the black-and-white goalkeeper's left post. Flamengo looked to turn the game around, attacking but struggling to break into the opponent's box.

In the 33rd minute, Cida pounced on the rebound after a corner kick and unleashed a powerful shot. Botafogo's defense managed to clear the ball off the line, preventing Flamengo from scoring. In the final minutes, the red-and-black team went all out in search of the winning goal, but failed. The derby ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Girls from Gávea return to the field on June 19th to face Avaí/Kindermann, at 15 pm, in Gávea.
