In the fifth round of the Carioca Feminino, Flamengo beat Fluminense 1-0 on Saturday afternoon (27), in Gávea. The Rubro-Negro's goal was scored by Rafa Barros in the first half. With the result, the Meninas da Gávea achieved their fourth consecutive victory in the competition.

The game
The first half started fairly evenly, with the Meninas da Gávea taking the initiative. The red-and-black team valued possession in the attacking half, trying to find space in the Tricolor defense to reach the box.

In the 20th minute, Flamengo created its first good chance. Sorriso lifted the ball into the box, the Tricolor defense cleared it, and the ball fell to Flávia, who tried a shot from the edge of the box, but the ball went wide of goalkeeper Luana. Flamengo had a high volume of play and exerted intense pressure in attack, looking for the first goal. Fluminense, on the other hand, closed up in defense and rarely attacked.

In the 39th minute, after much persistence, Mengão opened the scoring! Rafa Barros initiated the play in midfield and passed to Ana Carla, who made a run into the box and rolled the ball back to the top scorer, who tapped it into the back of the net: 1-0. Flamengo ended the first half with the advantage.

In the second half, the Meninas da Gávea created a good opportunity after just four minutes. Ana Carla drove the ball through the middle, got past her marker, entered the box, and hit a cross-shot. The ball sailed close to the goalkeeper's left post. In the 12th minute, Flávia received the ball inside the box and shot first time, but the ball sailed over the goal.

As the match progressed, Fluminense began to attack more, but the red-and-black defense proved solid and cut down the plays. In the 36th minute, Dani Ortolan ran down the left and found Ana Carla at the edge of the box, who set up a pass with her right foot and sent a powerful shot that the goalkeeper saved well. With complete dominance throughout the 90 minutes, Mengão left the field with another victory!
