Natascha is from Mengão!

Goalkeeper signs on loan until at least the end of the Brasileirão: "I intend to contribute on and off the field"

Flamengo has another new addition to women's football in the 2022 season: goalkeeper Natascha, who arrives on loan from Corinthians, initially until the end of September (the end date of the Brazilian Championship), with the possibility of an extension until December.

Born in Switzerland, the goalkeeper has dual nationality—her mother is Brazilian—and has been called up to the national team. Having also played for Paris FC, Mengão's new number 1 jersey boasts excellent credentials, has always stood out, and arrives ready to build a new history, now wearing the Sacred Mantle.

"I'm very happy with the opportunity to play for a great club like Flamengo, which allows me to grow in my career, learn, and continue to evolve to achieve my goals. I want to contribute to the team's project and intend to contribute on and off the field. I'd like to thank Mengão and Mister Luis Andrade for their confidence in me. I hope this will be a season of many victories," he said in a quick interview with the official website.

"With Natascha's arrival, we're moving forward with our planning; after all, she's the first reinforcement in this new phase of signings. In her case, we're even happier that she's on loan from Corinthians. This transaction reinforces the evolution of women's soccer," said André Rocha, coordinator of the Mais Querido team.
