Flamengo/Marinha and São José face each other this Sunday (19), for the 2nd round of the Brazilian Women's Football Championship. The match will be at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea, at 15 pm. The Mais Querido wants to maintain the good campaign, as it debuted with a victory and is one of the leaders of Group 2.

Flamengo/Marinha achieved a good result in the first round and beat Vitória, at Barradão, in Salvador, by 3-0. Now, the red-black girls return to Rio de Janeiro and debut at home, needing to win to remain in the top positions of the table.

Coach Ricardo Abrantes will have no absences for the match and will be able to go at full strength against the current runner-up of the Women's Copa do Brasil.

The match marks not only the girls' reunion with Nação, but also Raquel's reunion with her former team. "I played there for two years. I have friendships and respect for the club, but today I play for Flamengo/Marinha. I have high expectations for the game, as training is intense and we hope to get a positive result at home," said the full-back.

There will be no tickets for this match and entry to the Gávea stadium will be free.

São José started the Brasileirão with difficulty. In the first round, the team hosted Ponte Preta and, with a goal from Luize in stoppage time, drew 1-1. After a roster overhaul, coach Márcio Oliveira faces the challenge of restructuring the team this season. Flamengo's record against São José is favorable. In two matches, both in the 1 Brasileirão, the red-and-black team won one and drew the other.
