After the break due to the Olympic Games, Flamengo will finally return to the field for the Brazilian Women's Championship. This Saturday morning (17), the team led by Maurício Salgado will face Avaí Kindermann, at 11 am, at the Salézio Kindermann Stadium, for the 14th round of the competition.

The Meninas da Gávea team spent two months preparing, including three games—Botafogo, Cruzeiro, and the Brazilian U-20 team—a few matches against the U-20 team, and numerous training sessions. The squad underwent changes: Darlene, Isadora, and Naná left, and Agustina, Leidiane, and Valéria Cantuário arrived. Now, it's time to put into practice everything they've worked on during this period.

The delegation landed in Caçador on the evening of last Thursday (15) and carried out an activity this morning at the Reunidas Headquarters. Born in Santa Catarina, midfielder Djeni, who has already played for the opponent and will have the presence of her family in the stands, spoke about the expectation.

"It's nostalgic. Today I was able to train on the field where I trained for many years. I used to live here, so it's a good feeling. But tomorrow I'll be representing the red-and-black colors, and it's a very important match, and we have to go in with total focus. We know the difficulties, but we'll go for the three points. It'll be great to have my family at the stadium. It's the first time I've come to Caçador representing my favorite club, and I hope it's a great day for us," said the captain.
