With a view to competing in the Campeonato Carioca, Flamengo signed Núbia, one of the country's top prospects, in early October. The defender, who has already been called up to the U-17 and U-20 national teams, has excelled in recent editions of the Brasileirão U-18.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, the 17-year-old athlete has arrived to join the first team. An excellent aerial player, she stands out for her ease with the ball at her feet and her recovery in individual combat. In addition to her defensive skills, the new Menina da Gávea is a frequent goal scorer.
