On Tuesday morning (28), midfielder Carol Matos announced her retirement from the field. Known for her grit and for leaving everything on the field, the now former player identified with the Sacred Mantle and won over the nation right away. With a leadership profile, she was the Carioca champion in 2019 and the Guanabara Cup in 2020. 

In 2021, even though she wasn't playing, Carol attended every game in Rio de Janeiro to support the team. We wish her every success and good luck in this new cycle.
