Flamengo/Marinha received good news on Thursday afternoon (9). Renata and Ju, defender and midfielder of Mais Querido, were called up by Vadão for observation and training at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis (RJ). The Brazilian National Team coach called 23 names.

The Meninas da Gávea will perform at Granja on November 13th, working until the 23rd. Celebrating the call-up, the two spoke to the official website about the excitement of wearing the green and yellow jersey.

"I'm happy with the opportunity to wear the Brazilian national team jersey again after so long. I confess it was a surprise; I wasn't expecting it at that moment. But I believe it's recognition of all the work I've done throughout the year, and I'm very happy about that," said Renata.

"It's the opportunity a high-performance athlete always hopes for. I've always maintained hope and focus on having another opportunity, but this time with the senior team. I'm happy for the opportunity and know that nothing is in vain, that everything requires a lot of dedication and hard work," celebrated Ju.

Flamengo/Marinha training returns on November 20th, when the red-blacks begin preparations for the next season at CEFAN.
